Its finally hear our camping trip post! if you didn't read my last blog then you are unaware that my computer crashed! but do not fret i am posting now! Well we finally did it, we went camping. this is something we have been talking about for a very long time! We went camping in Sequoia national park, for thous of you who live in California and like to camp this is some where you must go! while we were up there we saw several deer and thats not even the exciting part, we saw 5 yes 5 black bears! at first i found this rather scary knowing id be camping with the bears! But black bears are not aggressive unless you disturb them while they are eating but aren't we all a little cranky when someone bothers us while we are gorging ourselves or in my case i get a little cranky if im just hungry! So, here is a 'did you know fact' for you. MaMa black bears are actually brown, i don't know if its because of hormones or what but now you know. So we Saw a mama bear and her two cubs (the cubs are tagged so rangers can keep track of the cubs and mama) so just when we think its getting exciting we see another black bear now this guy was not shy at all he basically came right up to our car! Now the fifth bear we saw as we were driving to go horse back ridding and we were already late so we did not get to stop and look at him. Yes thats right we went horse back riding, it was a first for wesley and he now has a new respect for cowboys and their bums. im sure most of you know what a sequoia tree looks like but if you dont lets just say big tree does not even describe them!
yes our tent is crooked and yes thats me slipping and sliding putting our over sized sleeping bag in
the pin cones chipmunks kept throwing down at us

Good bye camping!
We drove home right at sun set!
Okay so i almost forgot to post about these bad boys! carve out oranges and stick the cinnamon roll in then wrap in foil, the orange will protect the cinnamon roll from burning!
Sounds awesome! What a beautiful place to camp. : ) I'm glad the bears were friendly. Xoxo.
