Las Vegas

First off this is a long time coming, I have not posted for almost a year! What a slacker! I will be creating a new blog soon and will post the link on my Instagram account when it is ready, hopefully by this next weekend.
We took a trip to Las Vegas! Now, this is not ideally where we would take our vacation but it was so worth it because we had the chance to meet up with both my brothers there, considering that is the half way point. Hayden and his family were only able to spend a day there, but it was worth it because Grant and Stephanie had some time with not only him and his wife but their two very sweet kids who they don't get to see as much as Wes and I, considering we live only 12 minutes away and Grant lives 12 hours.
Rayla Sue could not have been more excited to see all her cousins and aunts and uncles. It did take a day for her to get use to her Uncle Grant but after that she warmed right up and avoiding him soon became a game to her. She loved Greyson and they taught each other some of their little "tricks". Greyson would keep Rayla running real fast and she showed him how to twerk....yes I said twerk. If you are thinking she learned this fun little move from mom...guess again! Thanks dad (Wes) .
It was a different story when it came to her bonding with Declan. He unfortunately woke up with a fever the first day there and didn't want much to do with anyone but mom and Dad, but who could blame him! Rayla Sue on the other hand didn't understand this and wanted to keep giving him love.
We made this a three day trip and tried to fit as much as we could in but doing that left little pool time which was unfortunate because Rayla, like her parents, loves to be in the water. So the morning we were supposed to leave we decided to hit the pool up one last time.

We enjoyed our time and loved being with family and are so grateful for the opportunity.

Summer vacation part 2! Disneyland

i keep falling behind on the blog but i am trying my best to not miss anything. we are really excited to share our Disneyland experience with all of you. We had the BEST day! we ended up going on a day that was not to hot or to busy! we didn't have to wait in any lines all day!! Amazing i know! Rayla did so good she had an amazing time and i know all though she is still so little she knew how magical it all was. Rayla got to go on so many rides but i do think that her favorite was a small world, but who wouldn't love that one! i don't know how many of you know this but Disneyland opens at 8 and toon town opens at 9 and if you are there waiting at the gate at toon town at opening the characters all come out of their homes and come get the kids and bring them in! So that is what we did, and im sure wes and i were more excited then some of the kids there. Rayla made it the entire day from open till close, so we were able to see the 60th anniversary parade of lights!! WOW!! Now by this time both of our phones were dead so we have no pictures to show of that time you'll just have to take our word for it, it was amazing. I could go on and on about our day but i will just let the pictures do the talking. Enjoy
the morning of, getting ready (thank you aunt tammie for letting us stay the night with you)
on our way!
